WiFi.PRO offers a connection with the customer at the establishment through tools such as multi-language captive portals, which adapt to the user based on their profile, device, etc.

The creation and management of captive portals are performed easily and intuitively by dragging and dropping predefined and configurable modules (widgets): logos, images, titles, texts, banners, forms…

Campaign creation is carried out dynamically based on geolocation, time slots, weather conditions, language, device, audience segmentation, and other parameters. The generated databases allow for the management of other services: promotions, contests, giveaways, loyalty plans, etc.

Captive Portal Management with Drag&Drop interface
From the captive portal editing module, portals can be created and modified easily and intuitively using a «drag and drop» system for Widgets from an advanced toolbar. Images, banners, text, login types, language flags, etc.

Specific portals for forms or business corners
The form portal is used to create all types of forms and surveys. The Business Corner is the portal displayed on desktop computers intended for use by customers and visitors of the establishment. Both portals can be designed and modified independently.

Portal Cloning
The cloning option allows for an identical copy of a previously designed portal. You can have as many portals as desired; only the portal activated as «default» will be shown.

Advanced HTML editing of the portal *
There is the possibility to design the captive portal by editing its HTML code.
*This option is only visible to the support team, as it requires specific HTML knowledge.

User-customizable multi-language portals
Portals are displayed intelligently in the language used by the user’s device. For this purpose, as many languages as desired can be activated. A default language can be set to be displayed in case the device is in a language that has not been activated.

Intelligent filters in widgets
Widgets facilitate the design of portals by dragging and dropping objects such as images, banners, texts, etc., into the design area. In this way, content is created to assist communication. The content can be conditioned based on intelligent filters. If the rules of these filters are met, they activate specific content. Applicable filters can be based on: a date, number of user visits, total system visits, gender, birthday, days of the week, hours, Login type, and age. Through the combination of several filters and their rules, specific content can be created for segmented audiences.

Creation of multiple templates for Captive Portals: Chain, Establishment, Campaign
The creation of different templates for chain captive portals allows for a quick change of the portal across several systems at once. By having predefined templates, establishment portals can be easily changed or campaigns can be displayed.

This type of Login to access the WiFi service is performed in a single step. The user must enter their email account and directly accesses the service. In the service linked to this type of Login, the request for other data such as: first name, last name, gender, date of birth, or phone can be activated. The login process may vary depending on whether it is the first time the user tries to access or not. If it is the first time accessing, they will log in by typing an email account. An email will be sent to said account to verify the registration and for them to establish a password for a future connection. If the entered email has already been registered previously, the password will be requested.

Two-step verification of emails
Whenever the type of Login, «Registration with WiFi.PRO, Social Login, or One-step Login» provides the email data, the user will automatically receive an email where they can verify it in a single click.

User recognition Name and Last Name
This tool allows identifying a user who has connected in the past. If The Platform stores the First Name and Last Name fields in its database, these can be used to write a personalized welcome text on the screen with the name and last name.

Allows for tailor-made communication campaigns. Show personalized content for each user depending on their profile (gender, age, anniversary…) and/or external factors (date range, specific days of the week, number of visitors…). Fully configurable through its intelligent filters, which create rules that must be met to display information. A different experience for each user.

Banner Statistics: Impressions / Clicks by language, dates
Banners are used on captive portals and can have an external link. The user can browse these pages, but beyond them, they return to the captive portal to formalize the Login process. These actions are recorded and can be consulted at any time: Impressions, Clicks, Languages, timeline.

With the CRM tool, the platform can send scheduled communications via email to those customers who have provided this data during the Login process. It features a visual editor to easily compose emails by adding formatted text, images, and links. Emails can be scheduled to be sent during the time the PIN is active or once it has expired. Drafts can be created for later editing and mailing criteria can be defined: date, hour, days of the week, user connection time, and time elapsed after the service ends. Delivery statistics can be consulted from the «Sent» tab, as well as the time scheduled for the next batch of emails, or the emails that were opened.

Contests
By means of intelligent filters, rules can be created so that the content appearing on the captive portals is subject to a contest.

Giveaways
By means of intelligent filters, rules can be created so that a user or group of users are eligible for a prize, defining the moment or date for the information to appear on the winner’s captive portal.

Information traffic between captive portals and customer devices is carried out using high-level encryption techniques (HTTPS).

To use a WiFi service and have internet connectivity, users must accept terms and conditions based on current regulations. The captive portal displays the acceptance checkboxes for terms of use and privacy policies.

Editable legal checkboxes
By default, three legal checkboxes are created along with the captive portal:

  • Acceptance of service conditions
  • Remember me
  • Receive communications

As many checkboxes as desired can be created and defined independently: the order, the title, the accompanying legal text, or defining whether it must be clicked or not in order to browse.

Expandable legal checkboxes
Defines whether the set of legal checkboxes will be shown collapsed or expanded by default.

Editable legal texts
The legal texts that accompany the legal checkboxes can be consulted from the captive portal itself. These texts are generated by default automatically, but they can be modified.

Registration of companies and editing of legal ROLES
Possibility of adding one or more companies to the legal terms, as well as assigning their legal status: Data Controller or Data Processors.
